fusion GALLERY and The PERKINS CENTER FOR THE ARTS have joined forces to bring a very special show to the northeast. "SCEMATICA" brings the works of internationally known artist John Westmark to the area for the first time.

John Westmark is a Florida native, a 2005 graduate of the University of Florida MFA program and holds a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute. John completed a one - month artist residency in Joshua Tree, CA in July 2007. He recently had a very successful showing at Art Miami and is currently in great demand in the gallery circuit.

        

In order to present the full series of works the exhibition will be split between Fusion GALLERY and The PERKINS CENTER with most of the XL scale works being shown on the PERKINS CENTER walls.

This body of work explores the metaphorical potential of a material when it is taken out of context and applied to a new pictoral structure. The resulting images plays in the space between instructional "schematics" and a new interpretation of structured reality.
